Knights Foundry Welcomes Amador

Second Saturdays at Knight Foundry: Welcome Back, Amador! Show your Amador County ID when you tour Sutter Creek’s historic Knight Foundry on Second Saturdays June 11, July 9, or August 13 – and receive a special souvenir and a 10% gift shop discount. They’re firing up the antique blacksmithing forge, pouring and crafting hot metal, re-creating the ancient art of tinsmithing, and demonstrating the magnificent and still-intact machinery. Visitors can tour at their own pace, meeting and talking with expert docents throughout the complex. Pieces made by Foundry artisans are on sale at the Gift Shop. Tickets are sold at the door: $15 for adults 18 and older, $5 for students age 5-17, free for children under 5 and Knight Foundry Alliance members. Hours: 10am-3pm. All demonstrations are included.
