Mother Lode Friends of Music invite you to a “world tour” through beautiful music at their Autumn Concert
Faculty of the Pacific Institute of Music, Folsom -- Carol Chuang, Piano; Dr. Evgeniy Sporov, Violin; Dylan Jowell, Cello; Harry Stoddard, Guitar – will perform a lively and culturally varied program of works by Brahms, Haydn, Elizondo, Dvorak, Piazzolla, Kreisler, Bach & Mozart.
Carol Chuang, director of the Institute, has enjoyed an illustrious career as an accomplished pianist, a widely recognized piano pedagogue, and one of the most successful classical music entrepreneurs of Northern California. Dr. Evgeniy Sporov, the Institute’s Academic Advising Coordinator, is a distinguished violinist, violist, conductor, educator, and music administrator with a career spanning over three decades.
An avid cellist since his youth, Dylan Jowell became the principal cellist of the CSUS orchestra by age 17. He is a passionate music educator and has played key roles with numerous orchestras and chamber groups in California and Tennessee. Harry Stoddard is a 7-string classical guitarist and performs as a soloist throughout Northern California. His contributions to the 7-string solo and trio repertoire include transcriptions of Bach, Mozart, Mussorgsky, Ravel, Debussy, Lili Boulanger, and others.
