Each year, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a nationally recognized day for giving back – Giving Tuesday. We invite you to “give where you live” for the benefit of our local nonprofits that do such important work in Amador County! Amador Giving Tuesday is December 1st, 2026 – GiveAmador.org 

YOUR DOLLARS GO FURTHER WITH MATCHING FUNDS 

Amador Community Foundation gives this nationally recognized annual giving campaign a special local twist. By making donations during Amador Giving Tuesday, your dollars will go further, thanks to extra incentives from our Matching Grant Sponsors. Matching donations are a great way to share your donation across the entire nonprofit community of GivingTuesday. Interested in being a Matching Grant Sponsor? Email Executive Director John Williamson at jwilliamson@acfgives.org or call our office at (209) 223-2148. In 2025, we raised $803,718 for local charities! Amador Community Foundation matched $100,000, bringing the total day of giving to $903,718! 

How to Give in 3 Easy Ways! 

1.) You may give online at GiveAmador.org 

2.) Drop off personal CHECKS DATED 12/1/2026 no later than December 2nd, 2026 – Amador Community Foundation – 571 S. State Hwy 49 Jackson, CA
– Brokerage checks (Fidelity, Schwab, etc.) may be dropped off anytime between November 1st and December 2nd
3.) Come to the Charity Showcase – 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, December 1st, 2026 – St. Katharine Drexel – 11361 Prospect Dr., Jackson, CA 95642 

Please make checks PAYABLE to Amador Community Foundation- MEMO LINE: Charity of your choice, or if multiple charities, use the Charity donation form provided by ACF. Date the checks 12/1/26 if possible
